This is not just another pretty dog face. Our Green River Festival iconic four footed friend is celebrating 25 years of summer family fun in Western Massachusetts. This is 3 stages of world class music including an expanded kid’s meltdown area, crafts, locavore food, sunshine and falling in love! The event takes place July 16th and 17th, 2011, on the campus of Greenfield Community College.
This year’s festival is sure to be a hit with your friends and family, just a two hour ride from your house to ours where we are throwing a fabulous 25th birthday party for our faithful pup! EmmyLou Harris and Toots and the Maytalls grace our stages along with the Carolina Chocolate Drops, Wanda Jackson, JJ Grey and Mofro, Black Joe Lewis and the Honeybears, Old 97’s and so many more! The dance tent roars from noon to night both days with Latin, N’Awlins , Swing and Cajun bands keep your feet movin’ while your kids are busy at the meltdown stage prepping for the big parade. TICKET PRICES
Tickets are available on-line NOW at www.greenriverfestival.com and at World Eye Book Shop (Greenfield, MA) and the Franklin County Chamber of Commerce on Main Street in Greenfield. Children 12 and under always free!
ADVANCE PRICES: April 18-July 15- $65 for the weekend, $45 per day
DAY OF PRICES: $55 per day at the gate.
PARKING: $15 for the weekend/$10 a day, or take the FREE SHUTTLE!
Balloon Ride Tickets
Prices for 2011 balloon rides are:
Advance / $225.00 (includes a one-day festival ticket)
At the Festival / $250.00 (no festival ticket included).
Cash and credit cards (VISA or MasterCard) are accepted.
To make flight reservations, you can contact us by telephone at (413) 773-5463 or via email fccc@crocker.com. Don’t forget to leave your daytime telephone number so we can contact you. Passengers must be over the age of 10 and in good health. If you are pregnant, recently released from the hospital, have current broken bones or casts you will not be able to qualify to purchase a ride. Passengers under the age of 18 must have parental permission or the parent must fly with them. Riders are accepted at the discretion of the ride operator. All passengers will be required to sign a release form provided at the Festival balloon tent.
Gates open at noon each day. The Green River Festival happens rain or shine, tickets are nonrefundable, and no dogs, tents, or alcohol are allowed on site.
