City Winery Hudson Valley’s Concerts in the Vineyard kicks off July 1. Running through August 6, the summer series features an eclectic mix of musicians including Josh Ritter and Southside Johnny.

The riverside property—on the site of a vintage yarn mill—combines a concert venue, restaurant, and winery in one location. Summer series performances take place at the property’s natural amphitheater: the gently sloped lawn provides the perfect vantage point to enjoy the show. The stone stage is surrounded by vineyards that overlook the Wallkill River, creating an elevated experience for guests to absorb the beautiful scenery and partake in City Winery’s culinary bites and award-winning wines.

Marc Broussard starts off the series on July 1. The concerts continue with the Tom Petty tribute band Damn the Torpedoes (July 7), Rising Appalachia (July 23), Josh Ritter & Band (July 29), Long Beach Dub Allstars (July 30), and Big Freedia (August 5). Southside Johnny finishes up the series August 6 with his classic Jersey Shore sound.

Doors for all performances open at noon, with a start time of 2pm. Information, tickets, and updates on the entire concert series can be found here.

The Concerts in the Vineyard Series at City Winery Hudson Valley is presented by Healey Brothers and sponsored by Hudson Whiskey. Media partners include Radio Woodstock and Chronogram.

In addition to its outdoor concert series, City Winery Hudson Valley will offer indoor performances and concerts in the Falls Room this summer: Judy Collins (July 2); Shake Rattle & Roll Pianos (July 6); Shemekia Copeland (July 16); Richard Thompson (July 27); Ann Hampton Callaway – Fever: A Peggy Lee Celebration (July 28); No Clue! An interactive murder mystery dinner (July 29); Bebel Gilberto (August 14); and an evening with Shinyribs (August 30). City Winery’s Michael Dorf opened City Winery Hudson Valley, a hydro-powered winery, vineyard, restaurant, outdoor concert venue, and private events space at the historic Montgomery Mills, in 2020.
To date, City Winery has locations in New York, Chicago, Nashville, Atlanta, Boston, St. Louis, Pittsburgh, and Philadelphia and will be opening up in Columbus in 2023.
