June 9. For 13 years Dog on Fleas has been bopping out fun ‘n’ friendly family tunes. Led by multi-instrumentalist Dean Jones (producer of kindred “kindie” acts Uncle Rock, the Deedle Deedle Dees, and Elizabeth Mitchell), the NPR-acclaimed trio draws on pop, jazz, and world music to get “kids of all ages” clapping and dancing. Invisible Friends, album number seven for the band, gets celebrated with this hometown hit at the Rosendale Cafe. (Playing in Traffic, featuring Steve Swallow, Adam Nussbaum, and Ohad Talmor, jazzes things up June 15; the Boot Heel Drag kicks in June 30.) 4pm. $10. Rosendale.
