Annie Christ

Graveside Variety isย a new pop-up cabaret venue and event space in Woodstock with a list of cool-looking happenings on its calendar. One of them is the appearance of Philadelphia-area drag queen Annie Christ for a special drag storyโ€”with kidsโ€™ activitiesโ€”on July 15.

โ€œInspired by a deep desire to empower and educate, Annie found herself drawn to reading to children, using her platform to teach them invaluable lessons about bullying, acceptance, and self-love,โ€ says the performerโ€™s bio. โ€œThrough the power of storytelling and the magic of drag, Annie opened up conversations that nurtured empathy, understanding, and kindness among young minds. Driven by a commitment to serving her community, Annie expanded her advocacy efforts beyond the stage. As an activist, she took charge in organizing food drives, lending a helping hand to community members in need. By dedicating her time and energy, Annie exemplified the power of unity and the importance of supporting one another.โ€

Kids of all ages are welcome at the event, and attendees are encouraged to bring bakery items to share.

โ€œDrag Story Hour with Annie Christโ€ will take place at Graveside Variety in Woodstock on July 15 at 10am. Tickets are $5.
