Editor’s Note, 2/10/26: Due to overwhelming demand, Tanglewood has added a second Paul Simon concert on Sunday, June 26 at 6pm. Tickets go on sale on Thursday, February 12, at 12pm on the Tanglewood website.

Paul Simon, one of the defining songwriters of the late 20th century, is bringing his A Quiet Celebration tour back to North America this summer with two highly anticipated outdoor concerts in the region that promise to blend the introspective depth of his latest work with the enduring appeal of his storied catalog.

On Saturday, June 27, Simon will take the stage at Tanglewood in Lenox, Massachusetts, part of the venerable summer music festival grounds long associated with classical and contemporary arts. On Friday, July 3, he’ll headline at the Pavilion at Bethel Woods, the iconic venue built on the legacy of the 1969 Woodstock festival.

Both shows are part of Simon’s A Quiet Celebration, a tour that marks his ongoing return to live performance after more than a half-decade away from the road, and follows a celebrated European spring leg. The concerts open what is shaping up to be a full summer run of dates across the US and Canada.

Simon’s set lists on this tour have been notable for their thoughtful structure. Each evening typically begins with a performance of his 2023 album Seven Psalms, a meditative composition that reflects the artist’s enduring commitment to songwriting as a form of reflection. After a brief intermission, he shifts into a second set that reaches across his vast songbook—from early Simon & Garfunkel classics to solo milestones like “Graceland,” “You Can Call Me Al,” and “Mother and Child Reunion.”

Tickets for both the Tanglewood and Bethel Woods dates go on sale Friday, February 6 at 10 am—no doubt both shows will sell out quickly. Concertgoers should note that venue policies and presale access opportunities vary; interested patrons can find full details and purchase information through the official Paul Simon website and authorized ticketing partners.
