September 6. A benefit for local music organization Classics on Hudson, this alluring evening at TK Home and Garden’s second-floor gallery brings together two instrumental masters: violinist Helena Baillie and guitarist Alexander Henry.

In addition to being a COH co-director, Baillie retains a fellowship at Bard College and has performed with Pinchas Zukerman, Midori, the Tokyo String Quartet, and the Beaux Arts Trio. Henry studied at Yale University, where he received the Wrexham Prize in Music and the Eliot Fisk Prize in Guitar Performance; the first guitarist to win the William Waite Concerto Competition, he has taken part in projects ranging from Dowland lute songs to a Steve Reich guitar sextet to a performance of Vivaldi’s D-major concerto with Orchestra New England under James Sinclair.
