OH BABY! Mocktails, a movie and much more!!

If you are expecting a baby, then we are expecting you!!  Please join Maternal Infant Services Network for our first annual, Oh, Baby! event, which will be held on Saturday, October 23 from noon to 5 pm, at Mount St. Mary College’s Aquinas Hall Atrium in Newburgh. We’ve designed the day to bring you everything you need to know to have your best birth!  And if you’ve already had a baby, we’ll help you figure out how to make your next birth even better! Even if you are not pregnant yet, our information will help you make better choices when you do decide to start your family.

Plan for an afternoon of fun with our Healthy Cheer Contest, featuring bartenders from local restaurants – you’ll be the judge in deciding who makes the best looking and best tasting non-alcoholic ‘mocktail’!
Join in as the fun continues with free demos from local Zumba®, bellydancing and yoga instructors, and help yourself to our free healthy snacks and refreshments!

Stick around to see a special benefit screening of Ricki Lake’s must-see film, the Business of Being Born which takes a probing look at childbirth and the history of obstetrics and midwifery in America. We’ll finish the afternoon with a panel of local birth experts for a question and answer session with audience members.
