Pity the Semicolon

(Not fully dressed
without a bracket
or parentheses;
the punctuation
mark is but a naked
set of eyes; no dash for a nose;
not quite sexy enough
to wink; hanging on only
long enough to think; so faceless
and without emotion in, of all places,
a poem. Smile semicolon;
smile;)
