Seattle native Eirik Johnson’s exhibit of large-scale color photographs document his three-year project through the industrial and natural landscapes of the Pacific Northwest. “Sawdust Mountain,” curated by Elizabeth A. Brown, will be on view at the Frances Lehman Loeb Art Center at Vassar College from September 7 through December 9. The opening on Friday, September 7 will begin with a lecture by Johnson, “Wanderings Along the Makeshift Landscape,” at 5:30pm. A reception and booksigning to follow.
