On Saturday, June 14, Skate Time in Accord will once again transform into a swirl of sequins, strobe lights, and four-wheeled flair for the seventh installment of the Catskills Roller Disco. A mainstay of the region’s party calendar, the event draws a colorful cross-section of skaters, dancers, and costumed revelers for a night of movement and music.
Behind the event is a familiar cast of characters: DJ duo Wolf + Lamb will return to the booth alongside Anna Collecta (Defected Records), Laura Lynn (Disco Chalet), and David Kiss (House of Yes), spinning everything from classic disco to house and future funk.
Skaters can take to the rink while non-wheelers hit the expanded dance floor, powered by White Rabbit Sound, or grab local beer and wine at the bar.
The rink itself, once at risk of redevelopment, was purchased in 2023 by local snack company BjornQorn, which restored it as both a production space and cultural venue. Expect bold outfits, a costume contest with prizes, and a crowd ready to dance into the night.
Tickets start at $30 and include skate rental.
