It’s almost summer in the Catskills! Now, some would think this would be a busy season for BSP in Uptown Kingston, but generally speaking it’s actually a little quieter than spring and fall, with folks wanting to be by the water in the Rondout or up in the mountains soaking up swimming hole or stumbling upon a party in the woods. So, with some extra time on his hands, BSP talent buyer Mike Amari put together a playlist of summer jams featuring tons of great up-and-coming artists, including lesser known acts, some locals (Lady Moon & The Eclipse, Yolanda Yolanda, Spud Cannon), and some bonafide summer jams (Lizzo, Todd Rundgren, Vampire Weekend). This playlist will put you in the mood for cold beers, bonfires, and long drives on winding mountain roads. Some are acts that have recently come through BSP or are playing this summer (full calendar), as well as acts that will be dotting the valley to play festivals like Meltasia, Huichica East, Woodsist Festival, SUPERTONE, as well as clubs like Colony.
