Around here weโve long dug the tasty confections of the Sweet Clementines, the clever local art-pop quintet led by New Paltz songwriter, guitar ace, and occasional Chronogram contributor John Burdick. On April 7, the band breaks the spell of an uncharacteristic gig drought by bringing its brand of Baroque brouhaha to the Falcon Underground.
The Clems are among the growing roster of acts on the recently launched, artist-run co-op label SubFamily Records. Their newest offering is โBobby Murcer,โ a track on the labelโs debut release, a seven-cut compilation EP titled SFR 101.
