Susie Ibarra is a contemporary percussionist, composer, educator, and filmmaker who has performed and recorded extensively in the realms of jazz, avant-garde, classical, rock, and ethnic music. Cited by SPIN as one of the “100 Greatest Drummers in Alternative Music” and named “Best Percussionist, Rising Star” in 2009 and 2011 by Downbeat, she lives in New Paltz.
