- Bell’s Roar
Hearty Chrono-congratulations go out to Bell’s Roar aka Albany songwriter and vocalist Sean Desiree, who recently signed with Firebrand Records, the new label run by former Rage Against the Machine guitarist Tom Morello. According to press copy, “Firebrand is an independent, artist-friendly, international label featuring politically radical artists of diverse genres.”
Desiree’s music brings together modern electronica and beats, indie rock textures, and lyrics that are alternately personal and imbued with social commentary. Bell’s Roar’s self-titled Firebrand debut, a six-song EP, appeared last year and was followed by “One Shot,” the single off her forthcoming album, Second Chances, which is due this September.
