Quinn’s has certainly been dishing up the fine out-jazz and rock ’n’ roll action of late. Pertaining to the latter, this month there’s a blowout on the club/bistro’s schedule by Detroit garage punkers the Britemores, which is an event you should add to your calendar post-haste.
Featuring Motor City veterans Johnny Chan (New Dynasty 6, Split Signals), Jeff Meier (Detroit Cobras, Rocket 455, Nathaniel Mayer, Geno Washington), and Jerry Barterian (Onset, Hysteric Narcotics), the Britemores recently released their self-titled debut album on the Jett Plastic Recordings label and are making their first visit East in support of the hard-hitting 12-track disc.
