I was surprised when somebody complimented me on my short haircut today because I had almost forgotten all about it. I got my hair cut at Trends Hair Salon a few weeks ago. Usually compliments on a new hair cut don’t last that long with me because I don’t do anything too drastic, and I don’t own a blowdryer or use styling products to keep it looking good. I’m a wash-and-go kind of woman. I asked Marissa at Trends Hair Design for a low maintenance short haircut. I needed one that would give me more volume without having to take care of it too much. And, voila! I love my new haircut. The salon recently started offering Brazilian Blowouts, which are supposedly great for split ends and damaged hair. I probably won’t be needing that with my new smooth look though. The salon has beautiful brick walls that are decorated with paintings from local artist Charlene Bachnann.
