Two new shows come to the Ruby Gallery in Kingston. The gallery invites photoโ€™s from Roy Gumpel and wooden sculptures by Bernhard Roze.

Roze is a Cragsmoor resident with a Manhattan upbringing has fused his passion for woodturning into a career. Roze uses wood from the Hudson Valley and transforms it into artistic pieces.

Photographer Gumpel has explored a diverse range of categories over the last 40 years presenting a photo portfolio that includes travel, corporate, environmental portraits, CD covers, studio portraiture, still life, fashion, architecture, documentary projects and film still. Gumpel and his camera have even landed a spot featured in National Geographic for an explorer film about Rt.66, and the Learning Channel for a feature documentary about sideshow โ€˜freaks.โ€™

Showcasing their latest work will unveil at the Ruby Gallery in Kingston with an opening reception on December 14th from 2 to 6 pm. The work will be available for viewing December 21 and 28 12 to 4 pm, and by appointment.
