Just in time for its 32nd anniversary, Bread Alone Bakery has announced the opening of its Kingston cafรฉ. The cafรฉ, attached to Bread Aloneโ€™s main bakery, offers a wide variety of Bread Aloneโ€™s award-winning breads and pastries, a full menu for breakfast and lunch, and coffee service featuring Hudson Valley roaster Irving Farm.

Bread Aloneโ€™s new space reflects the evolution of the company since 1983. As ever, Bread Aloneโ€™s organic, rustic breads are at the heart of the new space. These breads reflect the simple passions that have driven Bread Alone over the years. Similarly, pastries are made with Hudson Valley fruit and dairy. Foods are healthy, everyday items that highlight local proteins and vegetables.

The cafรฉ space is designed by Joseph Foglia, known for his inspired and intentional spaces around Brooklyn, Manhattan, and upstate NY. The interior, welcoming and reserved, features warm lighting, open spaces, and comfortable booths.

The space is meant to serve the entire community. Weekender, commuter, child, parent, grandparent. Bread Alone hopes to welcome many of its original Boiceville customers from 1983, as well as those just now discovering the Hudson Valley.

The cafรฉ is open daily from 7am to 6pm. Warm croissants are available at 7am every morning, and fresh breads and other treats are available throughout the day. Full breakfast is available starting at 7am and lunch is served from 11am to close. Grab-and-go items are available for a quick fix all day long.

  1. Why does the article and the Bread Alone website say this is in Kingston when it is way out in Lake Katrine (Town of Ulster)? Not only is it misleading, but also another example of a business supporting Town of Ulster tax base, but customer money coming mainly from the higher population of Kingston residents.
