On March 16, Governor Cuomo ordered all restaurants and bars in New York State to limit service to pick-up and takeout orders. Restaurants are a strong economic engine for the Hudson Valley, but with already narrow margins, they are under intense economic pressure during this COVID-19 health crisis.

We want to support local restaurants as much as we can and keep the public informed about their options. Right now, ordering takeout or delivery is the best way to help our region’s restaurants in stay in business.

Below is a database that we are compiling with the status of restaurants in the Hudson Valley as they are responding to COVID-19 pressures and protocols. We need your help to keep this crowd-sourced database updated.

  1. We are in Stone Ridge and patronizing the wonderful restaurants in the area for takeout. In High Falls The Spy, in Rosendale SOY and Rosendale Cafe, in Stone Ridge Roost and Stone House in Accord. All are open, friendly and ready to serve delicious food!

  2. FYI, the Roost in Stone Ridge has now shut down as of 3/22 “until things get better here in NY.” 🙁
