With those springtime temps beckoning Hudson Valley residents and visitors outdoors once again, the search is on for a go-to spot where you can grab a bite to eat and while away the evening. Over at Mirbeau Inn & Spa Rhinebeck’s signature restaurant, Willow by Charlie Palmer, there’s a new burger and beer special every Wednesday from 3-9pm that is sure to make it into your weeknight dining rotation.

As part of its “Wind Down Wednesday” special, every month since February the restaurant has been offering a seasonally inspired gourmet burger expertly paired with a craft beer. For April, the burger on special is a juicy lamb burger topped with savory-sweet balsamic red onions, crumbles of feta cheese, and fresh spinach. The bright, bracing flavors are perfectly complemented by Four Ever Rainbow from cult-favorite Brooklyn brewery, Grimm Artisanal Ales—a kettle sour brewed with guava and sabro hops.

If you’re jonesing to enjoy your meal al fresco, the restaurant also has limited outdoor seating on its canopy-shaded deck, so arrive early to snag a table there if weather permits. The restaurant currently offers seating in the dining room or at the bar as well.

If you’ll be in town on Sunday, May 9, Willow by Charlie Palmer will also be offering a Mother’s Day brunch from 11am-3pm, complete with live music from local musicians.
