What Lies Beneath
To the Editor:
I so enjoyed the memories aroused by reading Timothy Cahill’s latest, “The Daily Practice of November” (Editor’s Journal, November 2007). Fall has always been my favorite time of year and your photos and words have reinvigorated my admiration of what it is all about. As I finished up this morning, putting my garden to bed for the winter, I was thinking of the promise of spring that lies beneath the dormancy.
