There’s a lot going on the Hudson Valley this New Year’s Eve. On the live music front, we’ve put together this list of the area performances happening on 2024’s final night that jumped out at us. See venue websites for ticket pricing/purchases and other information. Happy new year!

The Felice Brothers at Assembly
The powerhouse folk rockers play night two of the grand opening of Kingston’s newest music venue. Free after party with DJ Jams Bond.

Lee Fields at the Bearsville Theater
The dynamic soul singer and his band the Expressions raise the roof of the reconstituted Bearsville Theater. Balloon drop at midnight.

Chris Wells and the Silver Spaceship at the Colony
Dance into the new year with performer and Secret City founder Chris Wells and his fabulous troupe. Freek’s Garage opens.

Community Rave Network at the Avalon Lounge
Area DJ collective Community Rave Network (AKA Sarah Van Buren, Rager, Scotia, Brad, and Rose Club) bring the beats and blips.

Helm Family Midnight Ramble at Levon Helm Studios
Led by Amy Helm, the Helm Family Midnight Ramble features an ever-evolving family of musicians. Roche Collins opens.

Dead Unicorn at Keegan Ales
Kingston’s caustic, long-running nihilist-noise punk duo blasts the old year with a fittingly grinding finale. Girls Wish opens.

Deadgrass at the Falcon
As they celebrate 2024’s passing, Deadheads will dig this celebration of the music and musical muses of Jerry Garcia. Katie Henry opens.

Damn the Torpedoes at Daryl’s House
Paying tribute to the timeless rock ’n’ roll of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers is this popular cover quintet. Early and late shows.
