Black Violin

Smith Intermediate School Theater this month, harbors โ€œinfluences ranging from Shostakovich and Bach to Nas and Jay-Z.โ€ Backed by a live DJ, the duo of violist Wil B and violinist Kev Marcus fuses classical, jazz, and hip-hop with a flair thatโ€™s seen them open for Wu-Tang Clan, Akon, and Fat Joe, and collaborate with Alicia Keys, P.Diddy, Kanye West, 50 Cent, Aerosmith, Tom Petty, Aretha Franklin, and the Eagles.
