When Farmer Albert Wilklow and Brew Master Devin Britten paired together, the two childhood friends not only created an idea, they made it come to life. In 2011 Bad Seed Craft Hard Cider House was introduced, blending both traditional and innovative techniques to produce their hard cider. On October 4, Bad Seed is ready to unveil their latest addition, a Ciderie Taproom, to offer tastings, tours, and old fashioned bar sitting in Highland.
There is no need to examine for exotic chemicals or artificial sweeteners, all ciders use natural ingredients to curate the drinks. Each drink is created from 100 percent fresh pressed apples from the six-generation family Wilklow’s farm. This Ciderie does it all.
After renovating the 1950’s apple cooler, Bad Seed has found a home for their Ciderie Taproom that compliments a day of traditional apple picking perfectly. The Ciderie Taproom is located at 43 Bailey’s Gap Road in Highland. For more information please visit http://www.badseedhardcider.com. The tap room open’s their doors on Saturday 12-8 pm and Sunday 12-7 pm.
