
ARTS CHANGE LIVES at Mill Street Loft
2010 summer programs include:
- The award winning Dutchess Arts Camp (July 5-August 6): Innovative arts-in-education programs that build self esteem while learning through the arts for children ages 4-14 in Poughkeepsie, Millbrook, and Red Hook. At weekly sessions, campers build, create, discover, explore, dance, sing, act, and much more, while making new friends and having fun with professional artist-educators.
- The highly acclaimed Summer Art Intensive (June 28-August 6): At Marist College’s Steel Plant Studioโoffers a pre-college portfolio development programโthree two-week sessions and a residential component in session II. The program is designed for motivated teens ages 14-19, interested in careers in the visual arts with concentrations in Drawing & Painting, Advanced Drawing & Painting, and Photography. The Art Institutes 4th art study trip abroad will be to Mexico in mid-August, call (845) 471-7477 for information and reservations.
- The Junior Arts Institute (July 5-August 6): Aspiring artists ages 11-14 build skills in drawing & painting in 5 focused weekly sessions at Poughkeepsie Day School.
