Beacon Flea Market
Sundays through October 27, Beacon
Despite being in only its third year, the Beacon Flea Market has already become an important venue for locals to bargain over goods. Begun as a collaboration between two Beacon residents who wanted to rid their homes of clutter, the flea market still has a distinctly community-based feel. Beacon vendors hawk their wares at a discount, and while artwork and collectables are also sold, many of the products are similar to what might be found at a yard sale. In the past week, everything from original comic book art to goods benefiting Safe Haven animal shelter were to be found at the market.
