A Taste of Italy, Italian Art Exhibition

Artist FRANC PALAIA will present a selection of SX-70 photographs of Italy. The photos range from 3"x3" to 36"x36". The award winning artist, Palaia blends photography with painting and will demonstrate his original technique of hand coloring the SX-70 Polaroids which result in his photographs look like miniature oil paintings. He enlarges the original small Polaroids to a 3'x3' scale where the small hand colored blending of his oil based crayons end up looking like broad painted brushstrokes of a painting. The colors are brilliant, textured and dynamic and enhance the beauty of Italy.
