Dust Bowl Faeries w/Melora Creager (of Rasputina), Graveside Variety, Woodstock

On Friday April 26th join Dust Bowl Faeries trio for an evening of accordion-driven dark folk music featuring special guest Melora Creager (of Rasputina) at Amanda Palmer's GRAVESIDE VARIETY listening room in Woodstock NY, 8pm. A faerie-tale fusion of gothic polka and dark cabaret music, Dust Bowl Faeries is a freak-folk band from the New York Hudson Valley. The band's eclectic repertoire draws inspiration from post-punk, murder ballads, circus songs and Eastern European folk music. Singing saw, bass and guitar accompany the squeeze-box to create the Faeries' otherworldly sound. Melora will join the trio on cello.
