Join the Century House Historical Society and the Wallkill Valley Land Trust for a special collaborative educational event, Saturday May 4th, 1 – 2:30pm (ran ate: May 5th , 1pm) at the Snyder Estate. Join us as we explore hundreds of years of local history and millions of years of geology all in one spot. Local Historian Bill Merchant and Geologist Laurel Mutti will lead us through the Snyder Estate and Widow Jane Mine highlighting the incredibly rich history and interesting geology of the Estate, the Mine and the area that surrounds it.
