The Duke and Satchmo

This concert features the music of two giants of jazz, Duke Ellington and Louis Armstrong. The program includes Ellington’s Caravan arranged by NDSO pianist Larry Ham and The River Suite, a symphonic jazz tour de force. Favorites performed by Louis Armstrong including Hello Dolly, What a Wonderful World and St. Louis Blues round out the program.
