Just in time for its 32nd anniversary, Bread Alone Bakery has announced the opening of its Kingston café. The café, attached to Bread Alone’s main bakery, offers a wide variety of Bread Alone’s award-winning breads and pastries, a full menu for breakfast and lunch, and coffee service featuring Hudson Valley roaster Irving Farm.
Bread Alone’s new space reflects the evolution of the company since 1983. As ever, Bread Alone’s organic, rustic breads are at the heart of the new space. These breads reflect the simple passions that have driven Bread Alone over the years. Similarly, pastries are made with Hudson Valley fruit and dairy. Foods are healthy, everyday items that highlight local proteins and vegetables.
The café space is designed by Joseph Foglia, known for his inspired and intentional spaces around Brooklyn, Manhattan, and upstate NY. The interior, welcoming and reserved, features warm lighting, open spaces, and comfortable booths.
The space is meant to serve the entire community. Weekender, commuter, child, parent, grandparent. Bread Alone hopes to welcome many of its original Boiceville customers from 1983, as well as those just now discovering the Hudson Valley.
The café is open daily from 7am to 6pm. Warm croissants are available at 7am every morning, and fresh breads and other treats are available throughout the day. Full breakfast is available starting at 7am and lunch is served from 11am to close. Grab-and-go items are available for a quick fix all day long.
