After sustaining damage during Hurricane Sandy last October, Woodstock's Byrdcliffe hosts a benefit show at the Kleinert/James Center for the Arts. The concert features Happy Traum, Ed Sanders, and Jay Ungar and Molly Mason, with all proceeds going to repair the roof of Historic White Pines.

The Chinese-American photographer presents her award-winning, ongoing exposé of world food markets at the Woodstock Artists Association & Museum. Illuminating the disconnect between humanity and the industrialized food industry, Grosso juxtaposes black-and-white photographs of butcher shops and marketplaces with images of raw, bloody meat.

The internationally acclaimed guitarist is joined by Metropolitan Opera soprano Jennifer Zetlan and cellist Yehuda Hanani for the world premiere of composer Robert Beaser's newly commissioned work at Great Barrington's Mahawie Performing Arts Center. The program explores multiple musical traditions, including tango, improvisation, and fado.

Drawing on more than 2,000 years of Chinese circus tradition, contortionists and acrobats defy gravity at West Point's Eisenhower Hall Theatre. The family-friendly show is full of color, wonder, and physical feats, such as plate spinning, bicycle tricks, and the “Human Top.”
Hudson Valley Beer & Cheese Festival
Aroma Thyme's owner Marcus Guilano and Tommy Keegan team up to celebrate local beer and cheese at Keegan Ales in Kingston. A Hudson Valley cheese menu, including samples and dishes, is paired with brews from Chatham Brewing Co., Cross Roads Brewery, Ithaca Beer Co., and Ommegang.
