Treat yourself to some spa pampering, and a local charity will get pampered too. All through January, when you get a 60-minute massage or facial at Savor Spa in Woodstock, 10% of the cost will be donated to one of three local charities of your choice: Family of Woodstock, the Woodstock Farm Animal Sanctuary, or Scenic Hudson.

It's all part of Savor Spa owner Angela Jia Kim's vision to make a difference in the Hudson Valley, where she opened a branch of her popular Manhattan spa in 2013. All of the natural beauty products used at Savor Spa are also produced in the Hudson Valley through Kim's company, Om Aroma & Co. Through both the spa in Woodstock and the manufacturing facility in Shokan, Kim is on the way to achieving her goal of creating 50 jobs in the Hudson Valley.

The charity benefit offers a great incentive to experience a Savor massage or facial, and to sample the locally made Om Aroma & Co. products firsthand. Popular skincare products include a Pumpkin Serum that Kim says "calms redness, soothes hyper-pigmentation, and prevents wrinkles," as well as cleansers, moisturizers, toners, and creams made with organic and preservative-free natural ingredients.

To book your spa treatment and support a local charity, call Savor Spa at 845.684.7148. Or book online and use one of the following three codes to choose your charity: FAM for Family of Woodstock, WFS for Woodstock Farm Animal Sanctuary, and HUD for Scenic Hudson.
