Kate Pierson Releases "Mister Sister" Video | Daily Dose | Hudson Valley | Chronogram Magazine

Mount Tremper native Kate Pierson is gearing up for the release of her debut solo album ‘Guitars and Microphones’ on February 17, but before she does that, Pierson graces us with her funky music video for the track "Mister Sister" featuring Fred Armisen.

Best remember for her iconic work with the B52's, Pierson has also collaborated with a number of notable artists including The Ramones, Iggy Pop, David Byrne, REM and Gnarls Barkley. This time around Pierson delivers an album that produces a sound of party rock, psychedelia, and socio-political punk. Integrating lyrics about rejecting stereotypes and preconceived ideas at every turn, new wave, genre-defying album collaborates humanism and feminism driven tracks while out for a real good time.

Peter Aaron's feature provides us the low down on the B52's girl as she talks about life, music, and all her upcoming endeavors.
