Annie Christ
Graveside Variety is a new pop-up cabaret venue and event space in Woodstock with a list of cool-looking happenings on its calendar. One of them is the appearance of Philadelphia-area drag queen Annie Christ for a special drag story—with kids’ activities—on July 15.

“Inspired by a deep desire to empower and educate, Annie found herself drawn to reading to children, using her platform to teach them invaluable lessons about bullying, acceptance, and self-love,” says the performer’s bio. “Through the power of storytelling and the magic of drag, Annie opened up conversations that nurtured empathy, understanding, and kindness among young minds. Driven by a commitment to serving her community, Annie expanded her advocacy efforts beyond the stage. As an activist, she took charge in organizing food drives, lending a helping hand to community members in need. By dedicating her time and energy, Annie exemplified the power of unity and the importance of supporting one another.”

Kids of all ages are welcome at the event, and attendees are encouraged to bring bakery items to share.

“Drag Story Hour with Annie Christ” will take place at Graveside Variety in Woodstock on July 15 at 10am. Tickets are $5.
