Mass MoCA Unveils Winter/Spring Season | Hudson Valley Events Round-Ups | Hudson Valley | Chronogram Magazine
Museum and arts and performance center Mass MoCA recently announced the schedule for its 2023 spring and summer season, and, unsurprisingly, there’s much to look forward to, in terms of innovative and inspiring programming.

The season runs from January through April and promises new exhibitions, concerts, dance, performance, film screenings, workshops, kids’ activities, and more.


Highlights of the new calendar include the Kaleta & Super Yamba Band (January 7), a screening of the film Shadow (January 21), sculptor Daniel Giordano’s “Love from Vicki Island” (opens February 4), “Broadway en Spanglish” (February 4), electronic musician Jlin and visual artist Florence To (February 18), artist Armando Cortes’s installation aún los gallos lloran (Even Roosters Cry) (February 18-19), artist Carrie Schneider’s Sphinx (opens March 11), a preview of Paola Prestini’s work-in-progress opera “Old Man and the Sea” (March 25), the 11th annual Teen Invitational pop-up exhibition (April 14), the Urban Bush Woman dance company (April 1-22), and more.
