A few years ago my husband and I went to chop our own tree at Bell’s Christmas Tree Farm in Accord. The view of the farm was spectacular. I was hoping we would have snow on the ground, but it turned out to still be a beautiful day. The customer service was great. The young man who baled our tree said that it is very busy on the weekends so we were smart to come on the weekday. We took home the perfect fluffy Christmas tree. Our tree cost us $43, and $1 for tree baling. Cash or credit card. $45 seems to be the going rate for Christmas trees these days, but the fun experience of cutting one down is priceless! Bell’s Christmas Tree farm also has a cute gift shop.
The tree is beautiful and puffy, but very prickly! We finally got smart and bought a cast iron tree holder at the hardware shop in Woodstock and this solved our leaning Christmas tree problem.
